Synopsis
This contemporary production takes you on a journey through the last seven days of Jesus' life, from the entry into Jerusalem to the crucifixion, focusing on the central relationship between Jesus and Judas. Both men are portrayed as friends, intellectual sparring partners and ultimately opponents. Although Judas does not want to betray his leader he cannot stand by and let Jesus lead them down, what he sees to be, the path to destruction. After giving up his leader to the Roman rulers of Jerusalem Judas cannot live with the guilt and commits suicide.
