Synopsis |
It is an open-door evening for Le Cabaret des Hommes
Perdus, a melodramatic gay musical written by
Christian Siméon for Jean-Luc Revol and his Compagnie
du Caramel Fou. There's no need to be a member to
enter, laugh and cry whilst following the all too
short destiny of Dick Teyer - a lost young man who,
trying to escape gay bashers, rushes headlong into the drag queen
nightclub called Le Cabaret des Hommes Perdus.
It's not about him, Dick, but he has gold between his
legs! To the charming melodies of Patrick Laviosa, he
will be the star of a digressed show hosted by
transvestites, porn stars, vocal coaches, tattoo artists who've escaped from the music-hall.
Lullaby, Bandolina, Marpessa, Debbie and the tattooed
barman from Le Cabaret des Hommes Perdus adopt Dick, and they
will make of him, before his fall and his rock 'n'
roll death, a brief star of X-rated gay porn.
