LES MISERABLES IN PARIS: 10 YEARS AGO ALREADY

For many of us, members of 'REGARD EN COULISSE' and equally for our readers, the 1991 production of 'Les Miserables' at the Modagor theatre was a definite experience. We wanted to speak about the production with several performers involved in it. We asked them to share their memories of that experience, to speak of some funny recollections.

Jerome Pradon (Marius)

"That was one of the most important moments of my career. I remember it vividly. It was great, because it was a new experience for me, for instance the approach to the actor's work was completely different. And for me, it was unbelievable to all of a sudden be offered a leading part in such a large production. The actors really walked hand in hand, it was as if we made Victor Hugo's ideals our own, we wanted to change the world, we felt as if we were entrusted with an important mission! We were swept with so much enthusiasm, so much hope and it remained with practically all of us. I still keep the most unforgettable memories, and the nostalgia for a year of hard and passionate work."
